US President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet King Charles at Windsor Castle on the first full day of his state visit to the United Kingdom.

Trump arrived in London on Monday night and described the upcoming engagements as “a big day.” He and First Lady Melania Trump spent the night at Winfield House, the official residence of the US ambassador to the UK.

The state visit includes a packed agenda featuring royal ceremonies, political discussions, and trade talks. According to the BBC’s royal correspondent Sean Coughlan, the itinerary will combine traditional pageantry with key diplomatic engagements.

Planned events include a carriage procession, military parades, an aerial display by the Red Arrows, and a formal state banquet.

This visit marks President Trump’s unprecedented second state visit to the UK.
