Advisory Council approves Referendum Ordinance

The Advisory Council of the interim government has approved the Referendum Ordinance. The approval came at a meeting of the council held on Tuesday (25 November) at the office of Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, with him in the chair.

An adviser who attended the meeting, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed the development.

He said Law Adviser Asif Nazrul will provide further details at a press conference scheduled for 4 pm at the Foreign Service Academy.
