Seven die of dengue in 24 hours

Seven more people have died of dengue across the country during the past 24 hours.

On the other hand, a total of 567 new patients were admitted to various hospitals during the same period.

The information was released on Thursday in a statement by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the newly admitted patients in the last 24 hours, 211 were from two city corporations in Dhaka, while the rest were from outside the capital.

A total of 92,784 patients have been hospitalized with dengue this year. Of them, 90,219 have been discharged from hospitals.

This year, a total of 377 people have died from dengue so far.
