22 police officials reassigned to new posts

A total of 22 senior officers of Bangladesh Police, including DIGs, additional DIGs, superintendents of police, and additional superintendents, have been transferred and given new postings.

The reshuffle was announced through two separate gazette notifications issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman on Monday, 7 December.

Among those reassigned are two DIGs, three additional DIGs, five SPs, and twelve additional SPs, according to the notifications.
