Tarique Rahman Meets Families of Enforced Disappearance Victims

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Saturday met with families of individuals who were victims of enforced disappearances and killings during past democratic movements.

The event, jointly organized by Amra BNP Poriba and Mayer Dak, started at 11:15 a.m. at the China-Bangladesh Friendship International Conference Center in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.

Also attending were BNP Standing Committee member Salauddin Ahmed, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Amra BNP Poribar treasurer and advisor Rashiduzzaman Millat, wife of missing person Ilias Ali Tahsina Rushdi Luna, BNP Joint Education Secretary Anisur Rahman Talukdar Khokon, National Executive Committee member Hummam Qader Chowdhury, Amra BNP Poribar convener Atikur Rahman Rumon, and Mayer Dak coordinator Sanjida Islam Tuli.

The discussion focused on the hardships faced by families of victims and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to addressing issues related to enforced disappearances.
