After a four-year hiatus, BTS has officially returned as a group. Following mandatory military service, members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and Suga reunited last year, marking not just a band’s comeback but a moment for millions of fans worldwide to reconnect with their beloved group.
BTS has made it clear that this isn’t just a return—it signals the start of a new journey. The announcement includes both a new album and a global tour. The group revealed that their upcoming album, titled “Arirang,” will be released on March 20, 2026.
The album is named after Arirang, a traditional South Korean folk song that has been passed down for generations and remains deeply cherished in Korean culture. In a statement, Big Hit Music said the album reflects BTS’s roots while weaving themes of heartfelt emotion and love into the music.
The word “Ari” means beautiful, and “Rang” means loved one, highlighting the cultural and emotional significance of the song.
The album will feature 14 tracks, all recorded in late 2025, blending BTS’s signature style with the essence of Korean heritage.
