The government has announced a general holiday on February 11, a day before the upcoming national election. Since election day on February 12 is already a public holiday and the following two days fall on the weekend, the decision results in a four-day consecutive break.

Additionally, February 10 has been declared a holiday for industrial workers, allowing them three consecutive days off excluding the weekend. The move is aimed at facilitating voter participation and ensuring smooth election-related activities.

Officials believe the extended holiday period will help voters cast their ballots more easily and support overall election management.
