Bollywood is set to witness a long-awaited moment as Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt come together in an action film for the very first time. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the upcoming high-octane thriller—currently titled Ranger—also stars Tamannaah Bhatia in a key role.

While the two veteran actors have shared screen space in multiple films over the past 25 years, surprisingly, they have never appeared together in a full-fledged action movie. Director Luv Ranjan himself described this collaboration as “astonishingly overdue,” calling it one of the film’s biggest highlights.

Although Ranger is a tentative title and may change before release, the makers have confirmed a theatrical release date of December 4 this year. The team is still in the process of finalizing a title that best reflects the film’s tone and scale.

With Devgn’s controlled, intense action style and Dutt’s raw, commanding screen presence, the film promises a powerful cinematic clash. Industry insiders believe this first-ever action pairing could become one of the most talked-about Bollywood moments of the year.
