Popular singer and actor Pritom Hasan is set to surprise his fans on his birthday with the announcement of a new web series titled Cactus. The Chorki original marks the first on-screen collaboration between Pritom Hasan and acclaimed actress Mehazabien Chowdhury.

Directed by Shihab Shaheen, Cactus promises a layered narrative focusing on internal conflicts and complex human emotions. Pritom has described his character as sharp, skilled, and fast—yet morally lost, making it one of his most challenging acting roles so far.

Mehazabien, known for being selective about her projects, said the depth and uniqueness of her character drew her to the series. She believes such roles do not come often, which made Cactus an opportunity she couldn’t ignore.
