Preparations Underway in Jessore Ahead of Tarique Rahman’s Visit

For the first time, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman is visiting Jessore.

On Monday (February 2), he will deliver the main speech at a historic public rally organized at the Upashahar Central Sports Ground. His arrival has created a festive atmosphere across the district, with party leaders and activists showing high enthusiasm and energy.

According to party sources, full preparations are underway at the sports ground to ensure the stage setup, sound system, lighting, and security arrangements are all in place. Local workers said they are working tirelessly to complete all tasks ahead of schedule.

Meanwhile, the Jessore district BNP has undertaken extensive organizational measures to ensure the program’s success. Preparatory meetings, coordination sessions, and publicity campaigns are being carried out at various upazila and union levels.

Jessore District BNP President Advocate Syed Saberul Haque Sabu stated that the party’s Secretary General informed the district BNP of the chairman’s visit schedule on Friday night. Since then, there has been widespread excitement among party members and the general public. Everyone is working day and night to make the public rally successful. The stage preparation is now nearing completion.
