Bangladesh A Women continued their impressive run in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament with a comprehensive victory over Malaysia A, securing a place in the semi-finals.

Batting first in Bangkok, Bangladesh posted a competitive total of 151 runs. After early setbacks, the middle order stabilized the innings, with key contributions from the captain and all-rounders.

Lata Mondol’s composed knock and a late flourish from the lower order strengthened the total. The team showed maturity and balance in building their innings.

In reply, Malaysia struggled against disciplined Bangladeshi bowling. Early breakthroughs put them under pressure, and they failed to recover.

Fatema Jahan’s early strikes and consistent bowling from the rest of the attack dismantled Malaysia’s batting lineup. They were bowled out for just 61 runs.

The 90-run victory confirmed Bangladesh as group champions with three wins from three matches. Analysts believe the team’s strong teamwork and depth are key to their success.

With confidence high, Bangladesh A now head into the semi-finals as one of the tournament’s strongest contenders, raising hopes for a title-winning campaign.
