Patwari urges stronger law enforcement

Nasiruddin Patwari, chief coordinator of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has called on the government to strengthen law and order across the country to ensure public safety.

In a statement posted on social media late Sunday night, Patwari expressed concern over a recent violent incident that resulted in the loss of a life.

He said his party’s election manifesto pledged to transform the Dhaka-08 constituency into a safe and secure area for residents. However, the recent incident indicates that more efforts are needed to achieve that goal.

Patwari emphasized that ensuring the safety of citizens is one of the fundamental responsibilities of the government.

He urged the authorities to take immediate steps to strengthen law enforcement not only in Dhaka-08 but throughout the country.

According to him, if the law and order situation is not improved quickly, public fear and insecurity may increase, affecting social stability.
