Talks between US, Israel on Rafah may be held in Washington on April 1 - CNN

Talks between the United States and Israel on the potential operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip may take place in Washington on April 1, CNN said citing its sources.

According to the TV channel, the proposal to schedule the previously canceled talks for Monday came from the Israeli delegation. However, the exact date has not yet been finalized.

Earlier, Yedioth Ahronoth, citing its sources, said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told members of the military cabinet about plans to send a delegation to Washington next week.
