2,300 destitute people get food, money in Chapainawabganj

A total of 2,300 destitute people of the district got Taka 7.5 lakh and different food items as Eid gift from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj AKM Galiv Khan distributed the money among 649 destitute people at a function held at his office conference room on Monday as the chief guest.

Before this, food items were distributed among the poor and destitute people on the premises of Chapainawabganj Collectorate English School.

Among others, Deputy Director (Local Government) Debendranath Oraon and ADC (General) Ahmed Mahbub-Ul-Islam were present at the function.
