Additional attorney general SM Muneer resigns

Additional Attorney General SM Muneer on Thursday (8 August) submitted a letter to the President, requesting exemption from his post.

Muneer confirmed the matter to journalists on Thursday (8 August).

Supreme Court lawyer and former general secretary of Dhaka Bar Association, SM Muneer, was appointed as Additional Attorney General by the government in 2020.

Earlier on Wednesday (7 August), Attorney General SM Amin Uddin and another Additional Attorney General, Sheikh Mohammad Morshed, resigned citing personal reasons.
