The Chief Adviser of the interim government Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus said everyone in Bangladesh is like one family. There is no room for discrimination. The main goal is to establish democratic rights, human rights. Hindus can demand constitutional rights from all governments.

He stated this during an exchange with Hindu community leaders at Dhakeshwari temple on Tuesday (August 13) afternoon.

The chief adviser said, our aim is to establish justice. Everyone has equal rights under the law. Help me patiently. Then consider what I could do and what I couldn't do.

Incidentally, Sheikh Hasina left the country after leaving the post of Prime Minister on August 5. Then on August 8, Dr Yunus sworn in as Chief Adviser of the interim government. On that day the Chief Adviser and 13 advisers took oath.

Later on August 11, two more advisers were sworn in. Farooq-e-Azam didn't take oath as he was in America. He took oath today (August 13) after returning home.
