Bangladesh's under-19 cricket team have sealed their first-ever Asia Cup title beating the UAE by a huge 195 runs in the final game in Dubai.

The young Tigers bowled out the hosts for just 87 runs while defending a massive 282 runs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, and became the unbeaten champions throughout the tournament.

This has been the second Asia Cup title for Bangladesh in both men's and women's cricket and the first one by an under-19 team. The women's cricket team brought the first trophy of the continental tournament for the country in 2018.

In reply to 282, the UAE kept losing wickets from the very beginning. They lost their five wickets inside the 50 mark.

However, the falling of wickets did not stop as they were continuously losing their batters at regular intervals. The host at last ended their innings on 87.

Dhruv Parashar hit the highest 25 runs for the UAE while Akshat Rai added 11. Apart from them, no other batters were able to reach double digits.

Maruf Mridha and Rohanat Doullah Borson bagged three wickets each for Bangladesh while each of Md Iqbal Hossain Emmon and Parvez Rahman Jibon got two.

Earlier, Bangladesh set a massive 283-run target before the UAE with an outstanding century hit by Ashiqur Rahman Shibli.

Shibli hit a 129-run knock from 149 balls with 12 fours and one six while building several partnerships along with other batters.

Chowdhury Md Rizwan, 60 from 71, and Ariful Isalm, 50 from 40, got the fifties to help the team reach the total.

Skipper Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby played a cameo of 21 runs from just 11 balls at the end as Bangladesh finished the innings with 282/8 after 50 overs.

Ayman Ahamed took the highest four wickets for the UAE while Omid Rahman got two.
