Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has stated that children are the architects of a prosperous Bangladesh. He emphasized that it is everyone's responsibility to prioritize the proper development of children in order to reshape the nation.

He made this statement in a message on Monday, October 7, on the occasion of 'World Children's Day.'

Dr. Yunus said that the interim government, formed through the mass uprising of students, workers, and the public, is determined to identify and solve problems such as child deprivation, child labor, malnutrition, and child marriage, which hinder proper child development.

He stressed that there is no substitute for providing a suitable environment, education, security, nutrition, and healthy recreation for the physical, mental, and cultural growth of children. If children grow up enriched with love, care, and free-thinking, they will play a positive role in building the Bangladesh of tomorrow.

The Chief Advisor noted that today's children will become the artists, writers, philosophers, economists, scientists, doctors, and engineers of the future.

He added, "I hope the programs undertaken to celebrate 'World Children's Day 2024' will contribute to the overall development of children. My wish for today is that all children in Bangladesh and around the world grow up safely, surrounded by love and care."
