"Everyone is an entrepreneur, not a worker," said Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the interim government.

He made this statement on Wednesday (January 1) during the inauguration of the 29th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF-2025) in the capital's Purbachal.

Dr. Yunus said, "Everyone is an entrepreneur, not a worker. A worker is someone who has lost their way. This is not the way of humanity; the way of humanity is to create. It is about creating what is inside your mind, not creating at someone else's command. That’s the difference."

He added, "Trade fairs provide an opportunity for people to showcase their initiatives and creativity. We must make the most of this opportunity."

While suggesting the organization of trade fairs at the upazila level across the country to foster entrepreneurship, Chief Adviser Dr. Yunus said the government would provide the necessary funding for this initiative if needed.
