The Chief Advisor of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, will meet with political parties today to discuss the Proclamation of the July Revolution, according to sources from the Chief Advisor's office.

The meeting will take place in two phases on Thursday (January 16) at 4 PM and 7 PM at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital. The meeting will be led by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, with other government advisors also in attendance.

Sources from the Chief Advisor's office have reported that leaders from various political coalitions, parties, and organizations, including BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, AB Party, Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Ganatantra Mancha, Gono Odhikar Parishad, and Nagorik Committee, will participate in the meeting.

In addition, the interim government's advisor Mahfuz Alam mentioned in a press briefing on Tuesday that leftist parties, including the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), which played a role in the uprising, might be invited to the meeting.

However, as of Wednesday night, CPB General Secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince stated that they had not received any invitation from the Chief Advisor. He also mentioned that other leftist parties, including the Left Democratic Alliance, had not received any invitations either.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (January 15) night, leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the Jatiya Nagorik Committee warned of launching a robust movement with students and people across the country if there is any delay or hesitation in announcing the proclamation date.

They announced that a delegation from the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and the Jatiya Nagorik Committee would meet the Chief Advisor tomorrow (Thursday) at his invitation. Discussions with other political parties will take place there. After the discussions, the proclamation date must be announced immediately. Any delay or hesitation will not be tolerated by the students and the public. If there is a delay, they will quickly organize a strong movement involving students and people from all levels across the country.
