Seven more individuals injured in the July uprising have been sent to Bangkok, Thailand, for advanced medical treatment under the initiative of the interim government. They will receive treatment at Vejthani Hospital in Bangkok.

Six of them were flown to Bangkok on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines regular flight on Monday morning. The injured individuals are Dulal Hossain, Mostafa Kamal Noor, Shahidul Islam, Hedayetullah, and Mohammad Raihan—who were undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation—and Mohammad Raihanul, who was receiving treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Earlier, on Sunday at 11:20 am, another injured individual, Dipankar Bala, was sent to Bangkok on a regular Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight.

On January 29, three injured individuals from the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and another three from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) were also transferred to Bangkok for better treatment.

Prior to this, the government had sent 22 injured individuals to Bangkok at different times. With the latest transfer, a total of 35 injured individuals from the movement have now been sent abroad for advanced medical care.
