A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport in Maharashtra, India.

According to a report by the Times of India on Thursday (February 20), the Dhaka to Dubai-bound flight encountered a mechanical issue mid-air, prompting its diversion to Nagpur Airport. The flight had a total of 408 people on board, including 396 passengers and 12 crew members.

A senior official at Nagpur Airport stated that due to a technical fault, the aircraft was diverted on Wednesday (February 19) at midnight and later made an emergency landing.

Airport director Abid Ruhi confirmed that all passengers disembarked safely after landing. Another Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight has been arranged to transport the passengers to their destination.
