A young man from Shibaloy Upazila of Manikganj, Julhas, has amazed the country with his innovative skills by building an aircraft. Recently, his homemade aircraft was able to fly to a height of 50 feet, which has caused a stir among the general public and experts alike.
Meanwhile, this incredible achievement by Julhas caught the attention of BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, who, while sitting in London, promptly gave instructions to We are the BNP family convener, Atiqur Rahman Rumon, to extend his congratulations to Julhas for this remarkable invention.
The next morning, a representative team from the BNP visited Julhas's house in Shibaloy and conveyed the greetings of Tarique Rahman, as well as expressing heartfelt support for his innovative work.
Atiqur Rahman Rumon, the We are the BNP family convener, stated, "Such talented youth are our nation's assets. It is our duty to support and encourage them, as emphasized by our Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman."
He further remarked, "The world has advanced so much that people now fight wars with drones. One day, we will also create drones through youths like you. Bangladesh will rise as a technological powerhouse in the world.
If we can provide training to talented individuals like Julhas, they will contribute significantly as national assets. If BNP comes to power, we will ensure his talent is utilized for the nation's benefit."
Rumon also expressed Tarique Rahman’s interest in providing Julhas with advanced training on how his skills can be used for national development. "We must respect experience. Many people who lack formal education are ahead of others through practical experience. We need to value such experiences," he added.
The representative team assured Julhas that they would provide any necessary support to advance his work. During the visit, Tarique Rahman’s team also presented Julhas with a financial gift.
Julhas shared that, at present, he requires additional assistance and equipment to further enhance his airplane technology. The financial support provided by Tarique Rahman will significantly help his efforts and open new horizons for technological advancements in the country.
Julhas, 28, is the fifth among six brothers and two sisters. He passed his SSC exams in 2014 from Zianpur High School, but due to financial constraints, he could not continue his education. Currently, he works as an electrician in Dhaka.
