The Chief Adviser of the interim government, Dr Muhammad Yunus, is set to address the nation this evening.

According to a statement from the Chief Adviser's press wing on Tuesday (25 March) afternoon, Dr Yunus will deliver his speech at 7:00 pm. The address will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar (Radio), and private television channels, as well as online platforms.

With Independence Day being observed tomorrow (26 March) , the Chief Adviser is expected to extend greetings to the nation and highlight key initiatives of the interim government. His speech may also touch upon the upcoming national elections, ongoing reform efforts, and other pressing national issues.

Dr Yunus assumed the role of Chief Adviser on August 8, 2024, following the collapse of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5 due to a student-led and public uprising. Since taking office, he has addressed the nation on multiple occasions, providing policy directions and updates.

His upcoming speech is anticipated to outline critical national priorities and offer guidance on the country’s path forward.
