Celebration of 44th Foundation Anniversary

The Fire Service and Civil Defense Department celebrated its 44th foundation anniversary. On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 9 am, the Director General of the organization, Brigadier General Muhammad Zahed Kamal, ndc, AFWC, psc, inaugurated the event by cutting a cake at the Fire Service and Civil Defense Training Complex located in Mirpur, Dhaka. Directors of the department, along with officers and employees of various ranks, were present at the time.

To mark the anniversary, a special prayer ceremony was organized in all fire stations and all mosques of the fire service after Zohar. At the same time, a banquet was organized at all divisional offices, district offices and fire stations at noon on this day.

In a message, the Director General of the department extended his greetings to all officers and employees of the Fire Service and Civil Defense on the occasion of the anniversary. Besides, on this day of its establishment anniversary, he called upon everyone to take an oath to continue to strive to enhance the reputation of the Fire Service and Civil Defense by fulfilling their duties with dedication, as before. He wished everyone well and good health.
