A writ petition has been filed with the High Court seeking directives to form an expert committee to review the controversial and conflicting issues of the Women's Reform Commission.

A High Court lawyer filed the writ in the relevant branch of the court in the public interest on Sunday (May 4th).

Simultaneously, a directive has been sought to refrain from implementing the recommendations of the Women's Reform Commission until the writ is resolved.

Furthermore, the writ seeks the annulment of recommendations numbered three, four, six, ten, eleven, and twelve of the Women's Reform Commission, claiming they contradict Islamic law, offend public sentiment, and conflict with the constitution.
