Ex-CEC Shamsul Huda passes away

Former Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) ATM Shamsul Huda has died. He was 83.

He breathed his last around 9:00am on Saturday, July 5, at his Gulshan residence in Dhaka, his sister's husband Ashfaque Quaderi confirm the news.

His namaz-e-janaza will take place after his daughter come from US, Ashfaque said.

Shamsul Huda fell on the floor of house a month ago and for this, he had received treatment at home, he added.
