Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury announced that the number of law enforcement personnel will be increased at every polling station for the upcoming general election. Eighty thousand army personnel will be on the ground during the election.

The Home Affairs Adviser said that a fair election is possible with the current law enforcement forces. He added that the number of police and Ansar members, along with other law enforcement personnel, will be increased at every polling center for the upcoming national election.

He further stated that 80,000 army personnel will be deployed on the ground for the election. Additionally, members of the navy and other forces will be mobilized.
